Cancer awareness light display at AZ State Capitol

Startling figures show 13,000 Arizonans will die of cancer in 2023, and 41,000 others will be diagnosed. One group, however, is pushing for change, and they set up a special light display outside the Arizona State Capitol to raise cancer awareness. FOX 10's Lauren Clark reports.

Influencer honors AZ teen who passed away from cancer

We have covered the cancer battle of 13-year-old Alex Etheridge multiple times in recent months, and we have learned that the social media influencer from Australia who helped Alex meet his idol Travis Barker is honoring the teen by shaving his own head. Samuel Weidenhofer saw our original story about Alex, and helped him meet Barker during a concert in Phoenix. Besides shaving his own head, Weidenhofer is also raising money for Alex's charity.
