Lori Vallow: Date set for Arizona trial

Lori Vallow, the so-called "Doomsday Mom," is accused of conspiring to kill her ex-husband, Charles Vallow, and attempting to kill the former husband of her niece, Brandon Boudreaux. Vallow's trial in Arizona is scheduled to start Aug. 1. Lori Vallow is currently serving consecutive life sentences for murdering her two children, JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan, and conspiring to kill her husband's ex-wife, Tammy Daybell.

The trial delay came as a result of a ruling by a judge to designate Lori Vallow's case as 'complex.' Vallow was already sentenced to life in prison by a judge in Idaho for killing two of her children, and conspiring to kill her current husband's first wife.

According to reports, the judge overseeing Lori Vallow's case in Arizona has agreed to designate the case as "complex," a move that will allow prosecutors, as well as the defense, to have more time to gather evidence. The trial, which was originally scheduled to start in April, will be pushed back as a result. The two sides now have until late February to agree on some of the specifics of these, including a new trial date.
