Lori Vallow: 'Doomsday Mom' arraigned in Phoenix

'Doomsday Mom' Lori Vallow set to be arraigned

The arraignment is set to take place in a Phoenix courtroom. Vallow, who was already sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in Idaho, is accused in Arizona of conspiring in the fatal shooting of her fourth husband, Charles Vallow, in Chandler and planning the attempted murder of Brandon Boudreaux, her niece's ex-husband in Gilbert.

The woman convicted of killing her own children in Idaho is back in her old home of Arizona. Authorities extradited Lori Vallow to Maricopa County just months after her sentencing in Idaho. FOX 10's Justin Lum reports.

Chad Daybell's lawyers file to avoid death penalty

The lawyer for the husband of the so-called "Doomsday Mom" is reportedly looking to spare his client from the death penalty. Lori Vallow was convicted of all crimes against her by an Idaho jury in May 2023 and was subsequently sentenced to life in prison. Meanwhile, Daybell will face trial in Idaho in April 2024.

Lori Vallow returning to Arizona

Lori Vallow, the so-called "Doomsday Mom," was convicted in Idaho of killing her two children. The governor of Idaho has signed extradition papers, meaning Vallow will return to Arizona to face murder conspiracy charges for the death of her fourth husband, Charles Vallow. It's unknown when she will return to Arizona or when the trial will begin.

Lori Vallow gets extension to file appeal

The so-called "Doomsday Mom" is getting more time to file an appeal. It was originally filed on Sept. 19. Vallow was convicted earlier this year for murdering her two children, Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow, and conspiring to kill her husband's first wife.
