Valley football player hopes to raise awareness for diabetes

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Arizona Coyotes star Max Domi and Cardinals All-Pro cornerback Patrick Peterson both excel as athletes, while batting diabetes and a Valley football player wants to follow in their footsteps.

Ryder Lower wants to be a professional football player and is willing to reach out in the name of diabetes awareness by writing a letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

Ryder says he's hoping to hear back from the commissioner by Diabetes Awareness Day on November 14.
