CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS) - A (very) "untimely shipping error" had some St. Louis Blues fans scratching their heads over a cup of Dunkin' Donuts.
A suburban Dunkin' Donuts just outside of St. Louis began selling cups bearing the Chicago Blackhawks logo, odd timing considering the Blues are currently facing off against their Midwestern rivals.
The store nixed sales of the Blackhawk cups as of Wednesday evening, according to KMOV.
"Due to an untimely shipping error from the regional distribution center. Being a local business owner and fan of the hometown team, the franchisee plans to switch out the cups as soon as they receive a new shipment."
The Blues took Game 1 of the series, winning 1-0 after an overtime deflection-turned-goal sealed the deal. Game 2 is slated for Friday night at 8 p.m. from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
