YCSO: Two autistic teen boys found safe after going missing near Cottonwood campground
COTTONWOOD, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Yavapai County Sheriff's Office says they have found two autistic teenage boys safe and sound after they went missing earlier on Saturday.
Just before noon on Saturday, YCSO deputies were dispatched to a campground near Forest Road 360 and Camino Real, east of Highway 260 in Cottonwood about two missing teenagers.
The family says the two boys, Cristian Tackett, 17, and Josiah Stevens, 18, were last seen at 11 a.m.
Neither of them had been carrying cell phones, and after a search along Highway 260 involving deputies, Cottonwood Police officers, and several search team members, the teenagers were found safe.
