MESA, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Mesa fire officials say a woman was pulled out of a car that went into a canal and flipped upside down Monday.
The incident, according to officials, happened near the Loop 202 and Alma School. The woman, who is in her 70s, was reportedly able to breathe in an air pocket in the flooded car, and was later rescued. She suffered minor injuries.
