Woman dies after being hit by car in Phoenix
PHOENIX - A woman died after being hit by a car near 26th Street and McDowell Road on Oct. 15, Phoenix police said.
The collision was reported at around 6:30 p.m. last night. The woman, who was not identified, was reportedly crossing the street when she was struck by a vehicle heading east.
She was taken to the hospital and later died from her injuries.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and spoke with police.
Impairment is not believed to be a factor, officials say.
