PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. (KSAZ) - It's a windy day out there and the National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for most of the state. Wind gusts of up to 50 miles per hour are expected through Saturday.
In one valley neighborhood the strong winds even knocked down a saguaro cactus! The wind sent the cactus nose diving into the middle of the street, and it was caught on tape.
The 100-year-old cactus which weighed over 3,000 pounds just toppled over. Experts say it happens but it's rare.
