Who is Cherry Blossom? ‘The Masked Singer’ reveals ‘90s TV icon

On Wednesday’s latest episode of "The Masked Singer," a new crop of singers competed on "Carnival Night."

The new Group C contestants joining the show are Yorkie, Stud Muffin, Nessy, Cherry Blossom and Mad Scientist Monster. 

The celebrities battled it out with performances including, "Hot To Go," "Jump Around," "Roxanne," "Let’s Get Loud" and "Unwell" before one contestant needed to unmask.

While four celebrities were able to move forward in the competition, Cherry Blossom was chosen to be unmasked and sent home. 

Who is Cherry Blossom?

"The Masked Singer" unveiled Cherry Blossom as Candace Cameron Bure, an iconic TV actress, known for starring in the ‘90s hit show "Full House."

What they're saying:

"I’m so happy that I got to do it," Bure, 48, shared with the audience following her reveal, adding, "But now I can go home and sleep and breathe."

She revealed that the late-actor Bob Saget, who also starred on "Full House," was her inspiration for doing the show. Saget was revealed as Squiggly Monster during Season 4. The actor died in 2022.

"He really was the inspo," she added.

It’s "Boy Band Night" next week on "The Masked Singer," when the series will pay tribute to all of them with big lights and dance breaks.

Each mask will perform an iconic Boy Band classic like "Tearin' Up My Heart," "Poison," "Step By Step" and "I Swear," while some of "The Masked Singer" alumni, Chris Kirkpatrick and Omarion also knows as "Hummingbird" and "Yeti", will deliver some additional clues as to who may be under the mask before one celebrity must reveal themselves.
