PHOENIX (KSAZ) - If you're looking to help out in your community, there's a big volunteer fair happening this weekend in Downtown Phoenix.
The Van Buren at Van Buren and 4th Avenue is hosting a Phoenix Volunteer Fair on Saturday. There will be 90 non-profits from around the Valley on hand.
People can learn about the different organizations, the causes they support, and how they can get involved.
Organizers said people might think of it as speed dating for charities.
"I think we have a really great opportunity for people to come and hang out. We'll have live music on the patio, our concession stand will also be serving some brunch favorites," said Jessica Hill. "Our concessionaire is going to be selling some chicken and waffle sliders, we'll have coffee and cold brew, so, you can come out, be hungry, grab a bite to eat, meet with the non-profits, listen to some live music, it'll be a fun way to spend your Saturday."
The Phoenix Volunteer Fair runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 9.
