PHOENIX (FOX 10) - A Valley man has been arrested and is accused of using hidden cameras to record his former girlfriend and several female roommates - and that's not all.
The investigation started last December with a call from Justin Hardwood's ex-girlfriend. This lead to several videos of his alleged victims who had no idea they were on camera.
We spoke to Hardwood's mother off camera - she's shocked by the allegations.
Glendale police say his ex-girlfriend found videos of herself and two female roommates showering and using the bathroom. The files - labeled with the names of different women - were discovered on Hardwood's computer. According to police, Hardwood planted hidden cameras around his apartment without the women knowing.
Detectives counted a total of seven victims captured on camera. Police say Hardwood sexually assaulted one of them and recorded the acts before posting the videos online.
Police arrested Hardwood Tuesday. They say he told them the camera is a small USB charger with a recording device inside and that he bought it to monitor his son's behavior.
Police also say some of these victims have put restraining orders on Hardwood and he has a history of domestic violence.
