Transit cop saves man lying on train tracks as train approaches

A transit cop in New Jersey pulls a man off of the tracks just moments before a train speeds by.

Officer Victor Ortiz was responding to the report of a man lying in the tracks at the terminal in Secaucus.

The man struggled against the officer's attempts to help him, but was eventually pulled out of danger before an oncoming train pulled into the station.

New Jersey Transit released a statement saying it hopes this serves as a reminder of the kinds of things police officers do to keep us safe.
