Thousands participate in Phoenix Heart Walk

PHOENIX (FOX 10) - Thousands of people came together to walk in the fight against heart disease at the 2019 Phoenix Heart Walk.

Organizers say they hope to raise $2 million dollars that'll be going toward research and education. They also say they hope to inspire folks to make healthy life choices.

People participating walked through Downtown Phoenix while a band played to encourage them.
