PHOENIX (KSAZ) - A cowering dog was found stuck on a valley freeway on Monday night and now the search is on for the pup's owner.
The Arizona Department of Public Transportation tweeted out a photo of the dog, who was stuck on the median wall on State Route 51 and Thunderbird. ADOT is hoping to find the dog's owners.
ADOT's tweet about the lost dog has picked up steam on social media and and been retweeted nearly 100 times as of Tuesday morning. The dog's owner has yet to come forward.
The dog, now named Dottie, has found a temporary home with Arizona Equine Rescue, however, they are still searching for the dog's owner. If you are Dottie's owner, or if you know the owner, please contact the Arizona Equine Rescue.
