A storm system has brought rain to areas of the valley and snow into northern Arizona.
Places like Happy Jack, south of Flagstaff, as well as Overgaard and Window Rock all got snowfall.
Folks were waking up snow on the ground on May 1st, particularly in the higher elevations. Snowfall reached about 6500 feet near the Mogollon Rim.
Moderate to heavy snow was falling in the Flagstaff area early on Sunday morning. Drivers were advised to be careful on the roads.
The storm system also brought rain, wind, lightning and thunder to the valley on Saturday afternoon.
