SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - The plant sale at Scottsdale Community College happens twice a year every year, but past the succulent shrubs and flowers, you may notice something new.
"These aren't plants as you know... because their birthday's tomorrow," Dr. John Weser said.
Dr. Weser has been with the college for more than 20 years and says what makes the Center for Native and Urban Wildlife here so special is the fact that every step of it is designed to teach students a different aspect of the field.
"So, this is a all-student driven," he said.
From seeds to sales, these students are growing, too.
There's something for everyone, ranging in price and size, and the center urges anyone to come down and ask questions and get educated about plant life.
If you don't have a green thumb, don't worry, they have low-maintenance plants as well.
