TEMPE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police need help identifying a body that was found in Tempe Town Lake.
The Tempe Police Department tells Fox 10 that police and firefighters are responding to the scene where the body was found.
Police say the body was spotted by people walking on the Scottsdale Road Bridge and that the body was fully dressed, wearing a backpack and had probably been in the lake for a few days.
Police have released a sketch of the victim and are asking the pubic for help in identifying the body. The victim is described as an African-American man, 35-50 years old, 6'1" to 6'3", heavy set, bald and with brown eyes and extensive dental work.
It is unknown how or why the man got into the lake.
