Police: Motorcyclist dies in crash near I-10 and 24th St

PHOENIX, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Phoenix Police are investigating a deadly crash involving a motorcycle.

Officers responded to 24th Street north of Interstate 10 around 6:00 a.m. Saturday.

Investigators say a man was traveling at a high speed on a motorcycle when he lost control and hit the median. The man and the motorcycle hit a nearby fence from the impact. The rider was wearing a helmet but later died at the hospital from his injuries.

Police have reopened the 24th St. exit off I-10 West.
