Police: Lockdown lifted at Highland High School in Gilbert

GILBERT, Ariz. - A lockdown at Highland High School in Gilbert has been lifted after police responded to the campus to investigate a threat.

Gilbert police say the school is secure and there is no active threat. They are working to investigate the threat's origin.

Police say there will be an increased presence at the school throughout the remainder of the day.
