Police: Chandler crash near Loop 101 sends 4 to hospital

CHANDLER, Ariz. (FOX 10) - Police say four people have been hospitalized following a crash near a Chandler freeway early Wednesday morning.

Chandler police say the two-vehicle crash happened near the southbound Loop 101 off-ramp and Warner Road. Police say two men driving a Chevy Suburban were suspected of breaking into other vehicles.

When they were spotted by police, they sped away and drove through two stop lights before crashing into another SUV.

Police say the two men will be taken into custody after they are released from the hospital.

Two women inside the other SUV have been taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The roadway was reopened just after noon.
