Man dead following North Phoenix pedestrian crash: PD
PHOENIX - Officials with the Phoenix Police Department say a crash involving a pedestrian on Nov. 1 has turned deadly.
According to a brief initial statement, the crash happened in the area of 28th Avenue and Thunderbird Road. Officers were called to the scene at around 5:46 a.m., and the crash involved two cars and a pedestrian.
The person who died, identified by police officials as 93-year-old Eli Johnson, was crossing Thunderbird Road when the crash happened.
