LAVEEN, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police have arrested five teens in connection to multiple armed robberies in a Laveen neighborhood.
Phoenix police say the teens allegedly held up at least seven victims at gunpoint in a neighborhood near 55th Avenue and Southern on Tuesday morning.
No one was injured during the robberies.
Authorities tried to stop the vehicle and the five teens fled the vehicle. Some were found in backyards, others hid in trash cans.
One of the suspects was bitten by a police k-9.
Officers say the truck used by the teens was stolen out of Goodyear Monday. Two guns were recovered from the armed robberies.
