PD: Unknown powder found at SRP building in Tempe deemed safe

TEMPE, Ariz. (FOX 10) -- Police say an unknown substance has been deemed not to be hazardous after it was found at the Salt River Project power and water administration building in Tempe.

Tempe Police say a suspicious, powdery substance was discovered at the SRP facility near Mill Avenue and Priest Drive at 5:44 a.m.

Tempe police say the scene has been cleared following an investigation.
