Part of a Phoenix neighborhood was shutdown overnight after a big fight ended with a shooting near 28th Street and Oak.
Two people were taken to the hospital after police say a family got in a big fight around 10:30 p.m.
Police say a woman's boyfriend got into a fight with her sons.
At some point, he pulled out a gun and shot one of the sons in the arm.
He took off, but police say he didn't get very far.
Officers arrived quickly and pulled him over about a block away, near Monte Vista.
His face was reportedly bruised, so he was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
The son who was shot was also taken to the hospital.
At this time, the cause of the fight is unknown. No charges have been filed.
