Police are still looking for the driver responsible for striking a teenager and leaving the scene.

The 15-year-old girl remains hospitalized in critical condition after she was hit while crossing the road near Grand Avenue and Indian School Road on May 17 at 6:30 p.m.

Phoenix Police released surveillance video from the scene. You can see the white Mazda 6 vehicle involved in the hit and run crash. They say the car has been found, but the driver remains on the loose.

The young girl's mother is hopeful the person responsible is caught soon.

"I don't see how anybody can just hit somebody and drive away, whether it was my daughter or not, you stop," said Christine Ruottinen.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Phoenix Police at (602) 262-6151.
