The Brief

    • A trailer fire in Mesa left one person dead.

MESA, Ariz. - One person is dead following a travel trailer fire that firefighters extinguished on Dec. 11 in Mesa.

Mesa Fire and Medical officials say the fire impinged some propane tanks in the area, which have since been mitigated.

The fire erupted near the intersection of Broadway Road and McDonald, east of Country Club Road.

The area was blocked with caution tape for an investigation.

According to a report, a vehicle parked next to the trailer was deemed a total loss, but no other structures were damaged.

The deceased individual was not identified.
