MCSO investigates murder in Tonopah
TONOPAH, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Detectives with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office are investigating a murder incident on the western part of the county Monday.
According to a statement, MCSO patrol deputies responded to the 37000 block of W. Buckeye just before 1:00 p.m., in reference to a shooting.
The incident, according to the statement, happened some time before the call was made.
When deputies arrived, they found a man who was later pronounced dead by emergency medical personnel. The suspect, meanwhile, is still outstanding, but authorities say there are witnesses.
An investigation is ongoing.
