MARICOPA, Ariz. - The slightly cooler weather is not the only reason it's starting to feel like Christmas in Arizona.
A man in Maricopa is kicking off the holiday with a holly, jolly treasure hunt!
Before Santa makes a stop in Maricopa, Dayv Morgan sent kids and parents all over town, looking for a Christmas surprise.
He hid plastic Easter eggs filled with cash, all in the spirit of giving.
"I know it can mean a lot to people. Our family's been very blessed and so I just really like giving back to the community," Morgan says.

The Morgan family Christmas lights have been a Maricopa holiday favorite for years.
In years past, the Morgans used the light show to raise money for Maricopa charities.
This year, however, the lights never came out.
"I skipped doing the Christmas lights and at the last minute I said, ‘hey, what can we do to give back to the community?’" Morgan said.
Morgan took to Facebook to post the locations, and it quickly had hundreds of families out and about, driving around and on foot searching for the Christmas treasure.
Every 30 minutes, clues were posted.
The Nuno family was surprise Christmas winners.
"We were updating our Facebook as we were trying to see, ‘where is he going? Where is this at?' When we saw people are finding eggs, were like 'no one's found it here yet,'" they said.
Ten eggs filled with $50 cash.
The comment section on Dayv's posts is filled with winners, even for those that didn’t get the money.
They say it was about the family time they spent together.
"Even if you don't find anything, it's kind of just a cool activity to do with the kids and stuff like that. They get all excited. I mean, we get excited about it too," the Nuno family said.
Morgan got emotional talking about how much this can impact a family, especially around the holidays.
His biggest message was paying it forward.
