Man arrested for 2nd-degree murder after man's stabbing death, Phoenix PD says

A man was arrested in connection to the Dec. 29 deadly stabbing of Reminisce Biddle in Phoenix.

The Phoenix Police Department says at around 8 p.m., officers responded to the area of 5th Avenue and Osborn Road for reports of a stabbing. When they got there, they found Biddle, 29.

He was rushed to the hospital but died from his injuries.

"Homicide detectives responded to assume the investigation. Investigators learned that the stabbing took place near 3rd Avenue and Osborn Road, after which the victim rode his bike to 5th Avenue before collapsing. Additional details related to this incident remain part of the ongoing investigation," the police department said.

On Jan. 5, the department announced the arrest of Damian Mitchell, 47. Mitchell is accused of second-degree murder and was booked into jail.

Police say there are no other suspects they are searching for.
