Authorities in Needville, Texas have located a king cobra that went missing just down the street from two schools.
The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office and Texas Parks and Wildlife game wardens were searching the area for the 10-foot cobra that went missing Tuesday night from the owner's home.
The owner lives just down the road from a middle school and high school. Officials say the local school district was aware of the loose snake and were monitoring the situation.
The sheriff's office posted a photo of another king cobra owned by the same person that looks similar to the missing one.
The snake was found Wednesday afternoon around 4.p.m.
"Needville residents may come down from their roofs," the sheriff's office tweeted.
Before the snake was found, the sheriff's office tweeted, "We're still trying to reach Riki Tikki Tavi."
The king cobra is one of the world's longest venomous snake and can grow up to 18 feet long.
Needville is located 45 miles southwest of Houston.
