Loop 202 extension nearly 35% complete

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - The largest freeway project in Arizona's history is now nearly one-third of the way to completion.

Currently, nearly every section of the Loop 202 expansion is under construction. The new freeway will connect the eastern part of the Phoenix metro area to the western side of town, avoiding the I-10 through Downtown Phoenix.

Residents who live closest to the South Mountain Freeway, however, say they have some concerns. FOX 10's Courtney Griffin reports.
