SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Three people were badly hurt in a Scottsdale crash Tuesday afternoon and impairment and speed are believed to be a factor, police said on July 25.
The crash happened near Shea Boulevard and 110th Street around 12:30 p.m.
"Four vehicles were stopped for a red light on westbound Shea at Frank Lloyd Wright when another driver collided into 1 of the stopped vehicles, forcing it into the other stopped vehicles," police said.
Three people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Two victims have broken bones.
"The driver whose vehicle first collided with the other stopped vehicles is suspected of driving while impaired. Impairment & speed are considered factors for this collision," Scottsdale Police said
