Body found near Phoenix park & ride center
PHOENIX - A homicide investigation is underway in a Phoenix neighborhood near 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road, near the park and ride transit center.
Just after 5:30 a.m., officers responded to an unknown trouble call.
"Officers located a victim.. preliminary information from call details indicate this is an adult male being investigated as a homicide, possible shooting," said Phoenix Police Sgt. Mayra Reeson.
The victim's identity was not released.
