Hiker found dead on north Phoenix trail
Authorities are investigating after a man was found dead on a north Phoenix hiking trail near the intersection of Pinnacle Peak Road and 29th Avenue.
PHOENIX - One man was found dead by a hiker on a Phoenix mountain trail, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.
The body was discovered on a hiking trail near the intersection of 29th Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road.
Fire department personnel responded to the mountain range after a 911 call at 4:30 p.m. when a hiker called 911.

When the first responders arrived, the man was deemed beyond resuscitation.
The nearest hiking trail to the intersection is Kuttu Peak.
Phoenix Police have taken over the investigation.
