TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Some of the snowbirds visiting Tucson really do have wings.
Davis-Monthan Air Force Base will be hosting over a dozen aircraft from four Air Force and Marine Corps units around the country in March.
Base officials say the visiting aircraft will include fighters and KC-130 tankers.
Training will take place in southern Arizona military training ranges.
Base officials say the pilots will adhere to Davis-Monthan's arrival and departure procedures and noise abatement procedures.
