PHOENIX (KSAZ) - The family of a valley man, who was shot and killed, is asking for the public's help in finding his killer.
Twenty-seven-year-old Andrew Barela's family says he was walking home on Tuesday near 45th Avenue and Weldon, when a red Ford Mustang drove by and someone inside the car opened fire, hitting him three times.
Barela was rushed to a hospital, where he later died.
On Wednesday night, a vigil was held for Barela and his family asked anyone with information to come forward.
During their investigation, police pulled over a car matching the Mustang's description, but they are still searching for the shooter.
