Driver slams into power pole in Mesa neighborhood, leaves scene of crash
MESA, Ariz. - Authorities are looking for the driver who crashed a vehicle into power lines in a Mesa neighborhood and then left the scene.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened during the early-morning hours of Oct. 27 near Broadway and Ellsworth Roads.
No injuries were reported in the single-vehicle crash.
According to SRP's outage map, only one customer is impacted by the crash.
Broadway is closed in both directions from 90th Street to the Loop 202 due to the investigation. Drivers are advised to avoid the area and use Main Street or Southern Avenue.
