PEORIA, Ariz. (KSAZ) - (KSAZ) - A dog alerted a homeowner to a kitchen fire just before midnight on Monday.
The fire started inside a home near 99th Avenue and Beardsley after a woman fell asleep shortly after cooking food on her stove.
Her dog alerted her to the flames and both made it out of the home safe.
