Discovery of invasive snail species in Scottsdale waterway a cause for concern

PHOENIX (KSAZ) -- A small snail is causing big problems in the East Valley.

Recently, snails belonging to the Apple Snails species have been spotted in a Scottsdale waterway. Now, there are fears these Apple Snails could overrun the food chain along the lower Salt River.
