Crash sends Tesla into Phoenix home's pool
PHOENIX - A cleanup is underway after a Tesla crashed through a wall and into a backyard pool Friday morning.
The collision happened in a neighborhood near 35th Avenue and Beardsley.
"I was sleeping in my bed, when all of a sudden I hear this huge crash and big explosion," said Joe Papineau.
The home's brick perimeter wall crumbled, and besides the Tesla in the pool, there was debris everywhere.
The homeowner told FOX 10 that they had just finished installing new landscaping in their backyard before the incident.
According to police, the driver of another car was cited as a result of the crash.
