PHOENIX - An arrest was made in a deadly shooting investigation in central Phoenix that happened near 17th and Maryland avenues.
Phoenix Police accuse 33-year-old Khalid Williams of shooting and killing 35-year-old Keshawn Stewart.
It is believed Williams and Stewart were romantically involved until October.
Stewart then started dating a woman who became pregnant with his baby and was with Stewart at the time the shooting took place.
It's believed that the two men got into an argument inside Williams' apartment on Monday, Dec. 23, according to court documents.
When Stewart and his girlfriend left the apartment, Williams unloaded a round of gunshots at the vehicle, hitting Stewart as the couple drove away.
Stewart later died from his injuries at an area hospital.
