Carefree Highway reopens after deadly motorcycle crash near Lake Pleasant

PEORIA, Ariz. - Carefree Highway reopened near Lake Pleasant after a deadly motorcycle crash early Saturday morning, Oct. 22.

Peoria Police said there were multiple fatalities after a van and motorcycle crashed around 9 a.m., but didn't release any other details about the victims.

State Route 74 was closed for several hours in both directions between Lake Pleasant Parkway and I-17 for the investigation but reopened around 6 p.m.
