4 p.m. Weather Forecast - 12/2/24

We're going to be seeing some warm temps this week!

The calendar may say "December," but afternoon temperatures certainly don't feel like it!

The week ahead will bring another stretch of above average temperatures. Monday afternoon reached 81 degrees in Phoenix with middle 50s likely in Flagstaff.

Tuesday will also bring 80s to the Valley. The current record high temperature for Sky Harbor Airport is 81 degrees, set back in 1940. While the current forecast calls for a high of 80 at Sky Harbor, it'll be a close call for record levels!

By Wednesday through the weekend, temperatures will dip slightly with highs in the upper 70s expected in Phoenix. For this time of year, the average high is in the upper 60s.

Conditions will be dry and mostly sunny all week, too. In fact, it's been a very dry stretch of weather in Arizona and the spell continues all week. Winds will generally be light, between 5-15 mph each day.

Morning temperatures will still be cold in the High Country with lows in the teens and 20s the next several days. However, in the Valley, low temperatures will remain mild in the 50s.
The pattern may shift somewhat cooler by next week, but a major change is not likely in the immediate future.
