Arizona weather forecast: Cooler temperatures felt in the state
Officials with the National Weather Service say a cold front is bringing some cooler weather to Arizona.
"Near to slightly below normal temperatures are expected for today with some of the rural desert areas, along with places such as Globe and San Carlos, forecast to dip below the freezing mark early Wednesday morning," read a portion of the forecast on the morning of Dec. 10.
Meanwhile, a freeze warning has been issued for early Wednesday morning for parts of the Lower Colorado River Valley, Southwestern Arizona, and South Central Arizona, including the city of Casa Grande.
"Hard Freeze conditions (lows 28°F or less) may be observed for areas around the San Carlos area and parts of Pinal County," forecasters wrote.
In Phoenix, we saw a high of 68°F on Tuesday, rising to 71°F on Wednesday, and 73°F on Thursday.
