Here's a look at the latest police investigations, fires, crashes and other incidents that are happening around the Valley for Sept. 4-10.

September 10
- Baby dies after being pulled from a bathtub in Phoenix, PD says
- South Mountain, Phoenix - A hiker needed to be rescued from a hiking trail. Before rescue crews got there, they learned a group of people were able to help her.
- 35th Avenue and McDowell, Phoenix - Firefighters put out a fire at a commercial business at around 3:30 a.m. Officials say they saw smoke coming from the back of the building with sparking power lines in a nearby alleyway. No one was in the building, and SRP was called to address the power lines.
September 9

- Pedestrian fatally hit by 2 vehicles on Loop 101 in Glendale
- Phoenix Police investigating officer-involved shooting near Westgate
- Elliot and Rainbow Valley roads, Buckeye Valley - Four people were rescued after their side-by-side off road vehicle rolled to the river bottom. Two adults and two kids were rescued. A man was taken to the hospital and is said to be doing OK.

September 8
- Phoenix home intruder shot by teenage boy, police say
- Toddler dies after being pulled from Avondale pool
- 12th Street and Indian School Road, Phoenix - 15 people are displaced, according to Phoenix Fire officials, as a result of an apartment fire that affected eight apartment units.
- Legacy Boulevard and Thompson Peak Parkway, Scottsdale - Rescue crews with Scottsdale and Phoenix took part in the rescue of a 59-year-old hiker who ran out of water during a hike that began at 9:30 a.m.
- Electric semi truck fire at Nikola plant in Phoenix
September 7
- 19th Avenue and McDowell Road, Phoenix - A man was hit by a car at around 11:47 p.m. He is seriously hurt but is expected to survive.
- Gunfire erupts outside Mesa apartment complex
- 2000 Block of Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe - Fire crews responded to a fire that burned in an outside storage area up against a restaurant. The fire did not extend to the restaurant, according to fire officials, and no injuries were reported.

- Windstone Fire: 1 structure destroyed in Wittmann
- Near Loop 202 and Scottsdale Road, Tempe - Crews responded to a recycling yard that caught fire near Loop 202 and Scottsdale Road. It was put out quickly. There's no word about what caused the fire.
- Plane makes emergency landing on I-17 near Sunset Point
- Man shot multiple times near Phoenix bus stop
- Bethany Home Rd. and Perryville Rd, Surprise - The intersection was shut down due to a natural gas leak.
September 5
- Woman found dead inside Phoenix home
- Apparent human skull found among Goodwill donations in Goodyear: police
- Gun found at Linda Abril Educational Academy, student arrested
- Main Street and Mesa Drive, Mesa - "One vehicle was struck by the light rail. Unknown cause or fault. One person transported to hospital with minor injuries. Light rail will be shut down for a short period," Mesa Fire and Medical Department said.

September 4
- Woman found dead at west Phoenix shopping center
- I-17 offramp at Indian School Road, Phoenix - Exit closed due to what ADOT officials described as a "medical incident."
- Near Elliot Road and Kyrene Road, Tempe - Crews from Tempe Fire Medical Rescue, Guadalupe Fire, Chandler Fire and Phoenix Fire responded to a HAZMAT situation at a business called AZ Lithium. A semi-truck was found with one of its lithium-ion batteries on fire. Fire was contained to the truck, and no injuries were reported.
- South Mountain, Phoenix - An injured hiker and her dog were rescued off of South Mountain on Monday. Crews from Phoenix, Tempe and Chandler were called to help. "The dog, who quickly became overheated and was carried down trail by a bystander and fire crews at the bottom provided water and shade for the dog," fire officials said.
- 24th and Roosevelt streets, Phoenix: Phoenix Fire said a single-story three-unit apartment building caught fire. Luckily, the homes were vacant. No one was hurt.
