Here's a look at the latest police investigations, fires, crashes and other incidents that are happening around the Valley for Nov. 13-19.

November 19

  • 25th Street and Bell Road, Phoenix - Phoenix Police officials say based on preliminary information, a motorcyclist was headed east when he collided with a vehicle that was turning left. The motorcyclist, identified as 28-year-old Christian Dupont, was taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead.
  • 99th Avenue and McDowell Road, Avondale - Avondale Fire officials say crews responded to the area for an accident call at around 12:34 p.m., and eventually found the driver responsible inside a local business.
  • Salt River near 19th Avenue and Broadway Road, Phoenix - Phoenix Fire officials say crews responded to a drowning call in the area. The victim, described as an adult man, was declared dead at the scene.

November 18

  • Cave Creek and Nisbet Roads, Phoenix - Phoenix Police officials say a 19-year-old motorcyclist was taken to the hospital following a crash. The motorcyclist died after he was taken to the hospital.
  • Interstate 10 and Bullard Avenue, Goodyear - The Department of Public Safety says a crash involved one vehicle and there were no injuries.
  • 75th Avenue and Durango Street, Phoenix - A man was injured after his vehicle crashed into a tree, and he became trapped.

November 16

  • Thompson Ranch Elementary School, El Mirage - The school was placed on modified lockdown, according to El Mirage Police officials, after they received word that an armed man wanted by Phoenix Police was headed to El Mirage to pick up his daughter from the school.
  • I-10 and Watson Road, Buckeye - A pedestrian was hit and killed by a car. The driver reportedly fled the scene after the collision.

November 15

  • 51st Avenue and Peoria, Glendale - A man is fighting for his life after he was reportedly shot while preaching outside of a church.
  • 67th Avenue and Buckeye Road, Phoenix - Police say 39-year-old Ray Welch was hit by a car while walking outside of a marked crosswalk. After the collision, the driver fled the scene.
  • 3rd Street and Camelback Road, Phoenix - A woman was taken into custody following a standoff at a home.
  • 43rd Avenue and McDowell Road, Phoenix - "Officers responded to a business in the area of 1700 North 43rd Avenue for a shooting call at about 7:30 p.m. When officers arrived the found the adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was taken to the hospital in extreme critical condition," Phoenix Police said.
  • McDowell Road and Dystart Road, Avondale - According to a brief statement released by Avondale Police officials, the shooting, which happened in the area of Dysart Road and McDowell Road, involved Goodyear Police.
  • 7th Street and Camelback Road, Phoenix - "Officers contained a house where an aggravated assault suspect was known to be at. Officers established communication with the subject who was eventually taken into custody without further incident," Phoenix Police said.
  • 91st Avenue and Union Hills Drive, Peoria - Police say a barricade situation ended in a Peoria neighborhood after a man fired a gunshot and set a fire inside a home.
  • 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road, Phoenix - A man was critically injured in a motorcycle crash.

November 14

  • 27th Avenue and Bethany Home Road, Phoenix - A man died at the hospital after being shot.
  • 35th Avenue and Mariposa Street, Phoenix - A motorcyclist crashed in Phoenix and he died. He's identified as 52-year-old Jessie Gordon. Police say it's likely a car made a left turn in front of him and they crashed.
  • 73rd Avenue and Indian School Road, Phoenix - Phoenix Police say a woman and man were found with gunshot wounds. The woman is expected to recover, but the man has life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
  • 43rd Avenue and Encanto Boulevard, Phoenix - As people were reportedly shooting back and forth between two cars, a child was shot, the Phoenix Police Department said.
  • Loop 202 near Elliot Road, Phoenix - A crash on NB Loop 202 near Elliot Road blocked several lanes and caused a traffic backup.
  • 27th Avenue and Hazelwood Street, Phoenix - A man was found dead by officers. Police say signs of trauma were found on the victim following an investigation. The victim was not identified.
  • 36th Street and Thomas Road, Phoenix - A man is in critical condition after an electrical box explosion at a Home Depot in Phoenix, authorities said.
  • 31st Avenue and Van Buren Street, Phoenix - Three dogs and three cats were rescued following a kitchen fire at a home.
  • 29th Street and Roeser Road, Phoenix - Two people are expected to survive after being shot in south Phoenix.
  • 85th and Olive Avenues, Peoria - Two people who were stabbed suffered minor injuries.

November 13

  • 35th and Glendale Avenues, Phoenix - Police say a man was shot and pronounced dead at the scene. It's unknown if a suspect is in custody.
  • I-10 and 16th Street, Phoenix - A person was killed in a crash on eastbound I-10 near 16th Street.
  • Loop 101 and Tatum Boulevard, Phoenix - A crash was blocking several lanes.
  • I-10 and 40th Street, Phoenix - A car caught fire on the freeway.
  • Broadway Road and Horne, Mesa - A man is dead, another was arrested and two Scottsdale Police officers were hurt after a shooting in Mesa.
  • Higley and Ray Roads, Gilbert - Crews responded to a car fire at an apartment complex. No one was hurt.
  • 19th and Southern Avenues, Phoenix - One person was hurt in a crash in south Phoenix. A second person refused transport to the hospital. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
