8 students treated for injuries in Buckeye school bus crash
BUCKEYE, Ariz. - Nearly a dozen people are being evaluated for injuries from a bus crash in Buckeye.
What we know:
Eight students, a bus driver and the driver and passenger of a pickup truck that crashed are all being treated by paramedics.
Three of the students and the driver of the bus were taken to the hospital.
Buckeye Police said the students were being transported from the Buckeye Learning Center.
The crash happened at the intersection of Rainbow Road and Sundance Parkway.
Local perspective:
The intersection is restricted by Buckeye Police but they said traffic is still moving around the crash.
Lower Buckeye Road and Watson Road were listed as recommended alternatives for those who want to avoid the scene altogether.
What we don't know:
Police are still evaluating the scene and a cause for the crash has not yet been determined.
