Police say five people, including two teens, have been hospitalized following an early-morning shooting at a Tolleson house party.

According to Phoenix police, the shooting happened just after 1 a.m. near 83rd Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road while the victims were attending a house party at a vacant home.

"I didn’t know it was a vacant house. Maybe it was a rental that recently became empty," said Ralph Chavarin.

Police say all of the victims were outside in front of the home when a dark-colored vehicle pulled up and the passenger inside the vehicle began shooting at the crowd.

One of the victims, a 16-year-old teen, is in critical condition.

One of the victims is in critical condition.

"I heard one girl screaming," said one person in the area. "She kept screaming and screaming and wouldn’t stop screaming."

"It’s very upsetting for that to happen to a bunch of kids," said Connor Ulery.

The driver fled the area, and now, neighbors are one dge.

“I didn’t know if the person who did the shooting was gonna come back, you know," said Miguel Martinez. "Something bad could’ve happened to me."

Police describe the suspect's vehicle as an older model Dodge Charger and say it was last seen traveling southbound on 86th Lane.
