There is confusion on Wednesday night, after conflicting statements were issued on the status of Sunrise Park Resort.

The post listed no reason behind the supposed closure.
Officials with the White Mountain Apache Tribe, however, issued a statement Wednesday night that contradicted the Facebook post.
According to a statement released by Gwendena Lee-Gatewood with the tribe, the ski resort is still open for business, with an opening day scheduled for December 15.
Lee-Gatewood said there was a management change on Wednesday that was done by the Tribal Council of the tribe. When asked about the Facebook post, Lee-Gatewood said they do not know why the post was made, and reiterated that employees are to still report to work.
